At the core of NCEP are two foundational units: NCEP Central Operations and the Environmental Modeling Center. Also, there are seven NCEP service centers, including the Space Environment Center, Storm Prediction Center, Tropical Prediction Center/National Hurricane Center, Aviation Weather Center, Climate Prediction Center, Ocean Prediction Center, and Hydrometeorological Prediction Center.
